Castiel Figure Tutorial

Description

This is just a simple process of the Castiel Figure.

Before starting your figure you'd better have three views of the character, and do some research on him.

First we need a wood base, wire and foil to build the armature, then use SuperSculpey Firm to cover the surface and sculpt the basic shape.
(For Cas' wind coat, I used some wire netting to support the clay. )

Bake it after you think the basic shape is good to go(350°F, 10 mins) . After the figure cools down, use sandpaper and other tools to sand your figure, make the surface smooth.
Also, don't forget to consumate the details. You can use clay softener to glue the hair onto the figure's head.(Use heat gun for the details)

Paint the figure with gesso or gesso spray, then color the figure with Acrylic.
Spray a coat of Crystal clear to protect the pigment, now you have your own Castiel!
